Tee hee!!!! I was able to finally get that darn wig that I've been chasing down for Korin. In the process I was also able to pick up a back-up wig for the one that Omi's been wearing pretty much non-stop for the past two years. XD

Woot! These are some of the images that have come from my inking class this semester. It's been pretty cool so far... some of them have made me really scratch my head while working on them though. ^.~

Currently, none of the drawings per se are mine.... the professor has been seeing how well we ink the work of others, and what kind of decisions we've made based on the information provided in the files we have been working with. Turns out that I tend to err more on the side of 'Wally Wood's style of inking... and when in doubt, black it out. XD

Rawr... I tried ordering a wig for Korin the other day. The place I was getting it from doesn't have it in stock, even though it's on the site, and isn't gonna do a re-order for that color/size. *sigh*

Oh well. Looks like I'll have to look into other methods of acquiring that wig for him. ^.~

I just got the new eyes for one of my dolls today... OMFG... they are awesome!!!!!

Seriously, they are pretty nifty. I spent a little more on them than I normally would have, but these are silicone buggers and not the usual acrylic ones that I normally get. There really is an insane difference between them and any acrylic eyes that I've had in this particular doll. Normally, any eyes that've gone into this one have disappeared into the eye-wells of sucking doom... muajajajaja...

Anyway, photos under cut. I haven't had time to give this one a face yet, but I have modded the body out the wazoo. Warning, the mods are burn scars, so if that squicks ya, you might not want to look. Woot!

I was looking at packaging designs in class today. The current assignment is to redesign the packaging for an existing product. I'm still wondering which I should do... but, on wednesday the class is heading out to the mall for a research field-trip. Should be good times. ^____^

Anyway, ran across this image and thought that it was simply darling. I'd love to see the trendboard that went along with it. XD

I must be evil, rude and apparently kill babies or something to that effect... Then again, we all knew this already. After all, I plug in my roommate's celphone when she forgets, errr, uhm, I give food to my friends.... uhm, wait.... that's not right. Oh well... I'm still apparently evil.

I got a really fun little PM from a person on the doll forum that I used to frequent. Hmmm, and here I thought that my break-up was a relatively peaceful one? Guess not to this person. Woot!

I dreamed that even though Mom is dead, she kind of has a problem staying dead... and there was a chance that she could become alive again. So, Dad and I were faced with the problem of taking care of her while she was in that weird pseudo dead/alive stage? She wasn't gross or anything, and actually looked a lot better than she had in a long time. Actually, all of her looked like what her legs did when she was having problems with edema.

Oh, she also had a glass eye in the dream. Apparently (in the dream) someone told her that her glass eye looked luminous, so she kept saying that she had a glowing eye. There was also a part where my dad told me that the glass eye tended to not fit as well after mom almost drowned. I figure she went swimming after she came back from the dead. ^^;;;;

Anyway, it was pretty nice (even if it was a weird dream) to have my mom hug me again and tell me that she loved me.

The only real downside to dreams with mom in them is that I tend to go right back to sleep again because I want to spend more time with mom. ^////^

At some point I should lay out an outfit that is being shipped off with a doll that will be sold. The outfit is really nifty! It was made by one of my friends, but I'm kind of moving out of the particular scale of doll that it was made for. ^///^

Anyway, now that I've reclaimed part of the room... I shall attempt to find where my desk is within all that stuff. XD

I am trying to regain control of my room. It seems to have spiraled into something that could vaguely be described as 'hit by a hurricane'. Now, while the 'chic-shabby' look might be awesome in some social circles, it is not so great when it comes to bedroom decor.

Tonight's priority is to get everything up off the floor. ^.~

Tomorrow will be to free either my desk or my night-table from all the stuff that has accumulated on them. Locating where my lava-lamp has been buried in this mess should be fun. ^______^

In other rather unrelated news, one of my friends said that I was getting back to being the person I was when I first met them. Part of me wonders if this means that I've been in a more positive mood lately? Woot! Woot!

By the god, goddess or whatever deity of choice... I am made of fail. I tried to draw a normal person standing, and there was much disaster involved.

Turns out that I can only really draw people from the hips up. This is a serious problem. One day, someone will look at me and want me to draw a person from the waist down, and i'll be all... yeah, legs are stupid, how about i draw you a hand instead? XD

My awesome roommate suggested that i study the pelvis. I think that i'll do that this weekend.

My class in Product & Design last night could have gone a LOT better. My trendboard was pretty much ripped into during crit. Now, I have to redo it. PLUS, I've still got to make the design that the board was supposed to show? o.O;;;

Inking Techniques is cool.... not so cool when two pages are dropped on ya, and you have to walk in the next week with them fully inked, plus have the next set of print-outs to START working on in class. At some point I should scan/post the assignment I did for last week. The drawings/images that were created were tres nifty!

Illustrated Notebook, I keep looking at and weeping over having to 'destroy' an old book. *sobs*

Screen writing... I think that I've pretty much narrowed down to the horror genre that I'll be working on for the rest of the semester. By the time I'm done and out of that class, I'll have a full movie script. *twitch*

*looks at clock and dies* nuuuuuu... why can't there be more hours in the day? I'm not even done with lunch yet... -_-;;;;

My comic art professor decided to play a cute little 'joke' on the class. At least that is my only explanation for this. The assignment was to do two drawings in ink, one had to be nothing but nib, and the other nothing but brush. Catch is, we couldn't use pencil for anything. *groans*
